I loved the worldbuilding, but it got a bit copaganda.
I won't lie to you - the only reason I finished this was because it was so short. I didn't like the mystery's resolution and to describe it using only one word I would choose "meh." I did like the characters though! Very much Sherlock and Watson coded.

Thought provoking, cozy, sweet lil cuties. Pleiti was too good for Mossa, but I very much enjoyed this world. Very interesting message at the end. This book was too short, but I’m excited to read the next one.
4.5 stars rounded up. Love a novella, though I think I'd like a full length mystery in this universe. Love the vision of a future on another planet.

This was a fun little mystery. I was a bit lost at the beginning cause we're thrown into this dystopian future and I was struggling to acclimate to the world. Once I got my bearings, I enjoyed the adventure. The realization that it's time to shift gears when something isn't working anymore really hit home.
