I knew going in this was described as "cozy", but I think the way that was executed here played things a little too safe for me. I liked Pleita and Mossa, but it never felt like there were any true stakes. It might be one that benefits from a reread.

Interesting story and world. I would like to read the sequel and continue the story. A steam punk in space type world and was wonderful to imagine. The rail car system, the dumbwaiters, the tea and scones! I imagined the world as retro future fashion as well. The main characters had great chemistry and the villian was a surprise. Only took one star because it ended somewhat abruptly. I guess I'll have to read the sequel to experience more of the world! Looking forward to it!
