Kinsey seems to be getting herself into more and more trouble as this series moves on. She's been shot before, but this time she gets blown up by a bomb! This story takes place over the Christmas period and Kinsey realises that she is actually lonely, especially with her neighbour, Henry, out of town. She is asked to investigate a fire for the insurance company she sometimes works for. Before she knows it however, she finds herself kicked off the case, with $5000 deposited into her account and the possibility of being investigated by insurance fraud. This one really kept me guessing right up until the end!

I love the way the author goes into detail of the scenes as they come up in the book making you see the locations in your mind. This was another page turner in the series, and this time i had no clue on the out come into it was reveled at the end and for me it came out of nowhere.

This is a re-read for me. They are a bit like candy, I can't read just one.

Hmm. I do like Kinsey, but she was annoying me in this one. She didn't make the best decisions in this one at all. It did keep me entertained, anyway.

Great fun, a fast read. Very sorry to hear that the alphabet now ends with "Y"...

I love Kinsey.
I read some of these books several years ago and they are as great as I remember. I love the way she takes everything in stride instead of acting like an idiot, and there are no bumbling morons as side characters.
