Loved the banter between Spider and Reyna!!! Reyna is a badass FMC who wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself and her family. Spider had a heart of gold although he didn’t show it to Reyna at first, but it made their hateful bickering that much funnier. Laugh out loud, cackling moments throughout the book.

This was probably 1 of the best of the 4 in the series (along with the 2nd book) Rae was an amazing, take no crap, strong fmc. The banter was top tier as always with this author.
I feel like the Spider of this book was not the Spider we met in the previous books.
The plot was lacking but let's face it girls thats not the priority of these books is it, it's just a nice added bonus. 🌶️

This was my favourite from the series (although was very similar to Sweetest Oblivion). Loved the characters and the tension between the mc’s.
This is just a minor point but it was all very far fetched and nicey nice for a mafia/mob world. I love a happy ending but there is really low drama considering the world they all live in. Just maybe I’d could do with a little more dark so the light doesn’t feel so sickly sweet.
Although this is just the ramblings of someone with insomnia, so feel free to ignore.
But what you shouldn’t do is not give this book a go as it was a really enjoyable (albeit smutty) read.
