I'm sad about this because I loved Spider in previous books so wanted this one to work. Although I really liked both characters, this book lacked the tension of the previous three. It also felt quite repetitive. It was still good, just sadly not great.
But I do love J T Geissenger and highly recommend this series!

HOLY SHIT GUYS this book is my all time favorite in the series, the sexual tension between Reyna and Quinn literally had me shaking I think I had butterflies knocking my stomach for all the book THESE TWO WERE FERAL FOR EACH OTHERS
and Spider…GOD MY MAN had one of the dirtiest mouth, these two had me in a bi panic attack
She’s a girlboss fr THE FUCKING BLACK WIDOW I don’t blame Spider, fuck it was so funny this girl had my man in a chokehold, poor thing he was so miserable, it was like reading about Anthony Bridgerton in a Mob adaptation LOVE THEM
