The End of an Era! Though they did go out with a bang. Honestly, there was just so much about this read that stuck to my brain. The favorite in this series will probably forever reside with Savage Hearts. It simply changed my brain chemistry. This book however, it healed a part of me. The found family in a person. The trust, the slow but really evenly killed burn. The touch her and die. It was the perfect close to the end. Normally a series end is bitter sweet, but this one left me melancholy for what was.
It was hilarious
"Dear God. The daughter of a mafia don is having an affair with the latino pool boy. We're a telenovela."
It was real
"She takes it like any rational female should and starts crying"
And really it kept the same energy the series did the whole way. Funny, exciting, steamy, and fast paced. It never lagged and I never wanted to put it down. I stalled reading this because I knew it would mean a closed chapter to such a fun ride. I feel a hole where Queen and Monsters was. Looking forward to more of her work filling it.

I'm not sure whom I can file this complaint with but I demand a book for Kiernan! He has had me in a chokehold for like two damn books!!!

Not as intense beyond the romance aspect as others in the series but enjoyable. Characters were well written and likeable.
holy shit i inhaled this in 3 hours start to finish (took a little french toast break) and it was in-fucking-credible!! traumatized badass woman x grumpy giant mafia man x arrangement marriage?! love spider and viper, absolutely cutest i am so so sad this series is over
Spider? A silver-tongued, sinfully charming Irish villain who grins while getting threatened with murder—and somehow makes it hot. I lived for every moment he laughed as Reyna plotted his death.
And Reyna? She’s not just a heroine—she’s a force of nature. Fierce, elegant, and fully capable of cutting a man’s throat with a smile. Their dynamic? Explosive. The tension? Unholy. The spice? Send help.
It’s enemies-to-lovers on steroids, full of sharp words, sharper chemistry, and the kind of emotional heat that leaves a mark. J.T. Geissinger gave us a final book worthy of the chaos and obsession this series built toward—and I loved every savage, smirking second of it.
Brutal Vows absolutely devoured me—and out of all four books in the series, this one? Hands down, my favorite.
