Cute sequel. Don't need a follow-up.

I didn't LOVE the first book, so wasn't really excited about this one. The setting and new characters were refreshing, but Rosie was a shell of a character, just a stereotypical hormonal pregnant woman. And Don was annoying, rather than endearing. There were so many unlikely situations, I constantly rolled my eyes. It was just too zany for me.

I received this book from NetGalley for review purposes.

3.5 to 4

HmmmmmnYaah.. I dont know! I liked it, I really like Don.. But the book itself, making them break up like that and everything.. Hmmmnaahh..

It took me a while to get into this book, however about the halfway point I was hooked. I definitely laughed out loud a few times. I love an awkward character so Don kept me entertained.

I liked #1 better. Some of this felt more forced. I am still interested in Don and Rosie's story, so I will read #3.

Maybe because I read half in January and then had to put it down until now because of school, but I did not enjoy it anywhere near as much as The Rosie Project. I laughed a few times, but it just wasn't the same.

Not quite as good as the first, but another fun read!

Fun, slightly disturbing read. I actually teared up towards the end. I didn't think it was as great a book as The Rosie Project but a decent sequel. I blame that on less Rosie interaction/hilarity.

I love the character of Don Tillman. He's so funny and warm. But in this sequel I didn't like Rosie at all. Her character was so selfish and cold in that she never explained her reasoning for wanting to separate from Don. Her wanting to be married to him turned on & off like a light switch & I felt so bad for Don missing out on the father's pregnancy experience. Don wasn't completely at fault as he didn't try to talk it out with Rosie, but half the book dealing with their impending split was frustrating to read. I really wish the book had gone a different way. Other than this plot line, the book was wonderful sprinkled with great anecdotes like Don being arrested for watching kids at a park! It needed more of that & less sad drama.
