The sequel to The Rosie Project didn’t have quite the same charm that the original did. Don’s quirks and mannerisms were all consistent between the two books, but his behavior was distinctly different in this one. He engaged in quite a bit of deception throughout the book, which actually made most of it stressful to read. Rosie was largely in a funk for the entirety of the novel, making her rather unlikeable overall. The book suffered from the same overly happy (and difficult to believe) ending that the first novel did. While I’m happy to have seen what happened next for Don and Rosie, I don’t think I will be reading the third book in this series.

Olihan tämä nyt aivan mahtava kirja, vaikka Don aiheuttikin ärsytystä ollessaan niin hemmetin tietäväinen. Söpö jatko ekalle osalle.

I liked the first one a little bit better, but I still love this character, and think Simsion captures his voice perfectly! Definitely entertaining!

After reading The Rosie Project back in February I knew I needed Don Tillman back in my life and I wanted to see where Don and Rosie were at in their lives. The wife project was complete. Next project was baby on the way as Rosie is pregnant. This book had me in stitches. Don is just hilarious. I didn’t like Rosie as much in this book, she just seemed over Don. But I’m glad it all came together at the end
I was a little disappointed by this second book in the Don Tillman series & found the characters & plotline less engaging. Rosie doesn’t really feature for much of the book & when she does I hardly recognise her from the Rosie Project. Don’s antics gaining ‘parental experience’ border on the farcical. Overall It all felt rather laboured compared to the first. Still many lovely and very funny moments, perhaps I had too high expectations, still a very good read, but no where near as charming as the first in the series.

Dragged a lot more than I thought it would. I like all of the new characters but found Rosie and Don to be nowhere near as entertaining. The ending (while not as intricate/satisfying as the ending of the first book), was still quite enjoyable
