Overall, I liked it, i liked the idea, i liked the authors writing style. There were ofcourse some things, that i found a bit too much. Like Arkarians blue hair.

The Named by Marianne Curley – I had a little window in high school where I read a bunch of urban paranormal YA fiction, and this was probably the best series of that phase! Very cool world building! Happy Reading!

I enjoy the read in a the different world. I may check out the other books just to see where the story leads to. It's different that I am use to ready.
I don't really know what I was hoping for with this book. A new series I would love? pretty much. Insert sad music here. I don't even know exactly what it is that made me struggle through this book. The undeveloped characters? the Mary sue aspect of the characters? the fact they were standing in a room full of gods at one point and I was bored as hell? I can't put my finger on it but yeah...this disappointed me.
