idk if i read this too fast but it felt like everything and nothing all happened at once. i want the past 3 hours back
I didn't find it as spicy as I thought I would (my own preferences), but I liked it, although it won't be a favorite, it was okay!
Neither a mind-blowing read nor bad. If you're in the mood for a simple, feel-good story with some bdsm kink added and low angst/minimal conflicts then this one might be for you.

Lucian had everything I love in a good Dom, he was strong, self assured and caring. On his own he would have gotten all the stars.
While I loved Lucian, I didn't particularly like Dahlia. I found issue with the fact that she thought she was only subby because she had been abused and her disgust with her need to be dominated in bed.
I'm all for characters having a backstory, I just would have liked her a lot more if she was just a normal person that wasn't ashamed to be kinky.
The romance was quick and enjoyable, overall this was a fun read.

The kink is handled well but I felt the story of her being "broken" was weak. Characters weren't great.
