ARC REVIEW:

When I first started this book, I knew it was going to give all of the 2000’s RomCom vibes. This book made me feel like I was watching some of my favorite romcom from years ago. I don’t even know where to begin going into this book. I had no idea how cute it would be how much I loved all the characters, and the banter.

I honestly don’t even know what to say about this book, because I just finished it in the last hundred pages took me on an emotional roller coaster. I absolutely loved this book from the beginning to the end. The plot twist towards the end??? I was SHOCKED. I was screaming, giggling, and enjoying every second of this book.

This has definitely become one of my favorite books I’ve read this year. I am so happy I was able to read this book early and review it if you like a romcom with a good girl, bad boy, vibe, forced proximity, banter, and all of the feels I highly suggest this book.

I cannot wait for the next book I am so excited to find out more about Cass.

This book was so hot. Small town, sports romance with such good spice, banter, and plot. That twist had my jaw on the floor, I did not see it coming. It was great. I am looking forward to Cass and Wilders' story. I just know it is going to be epic.

Love a posh city girl and small town country boy romance. The bet, the banter, the smut (even that dick bachelorette party) was all on point. Wanna read more Staci Hart books for sure and the sequel to this!

I am thrilled to gd pieces to have Staci writing again. I think I have read everything she’s ever put out. One star was for that alone.

That said, the rest of the book was three stars. The first 40% of this book could have been accomplished in a chapter or two. It was tough to slog through. After it got going, it was solid.

Remington was precious af. As a matter of fact, one of the things I loved most about this was how he was repeatedly given the chance to be what everyone expected of him and he was always respectful and level headed. At one point someone takes a swing at him (because he articulated something they didn’t want to hear- he used his words like the sweet baby angel he is) and even tho he could have hulk smashed him, he didn’t.

I am henceforth just existing in my day to day until I get my hands on Wilders story. That’s all I want in life.

Remy had given up baseball to take care of his mother when she got cancer. His fiancé had bailed on him because of it. So he was not even thinking of ever falling in love again. But then Jessa came to be in his cousin’s wedding and had to stay at his house and well, that opened a whole can of worms. I loved the banter and the story but that last epilogue really has me hooked. I need another book.
