I loved this book! It was my first by Natasha Bishop, and it definitely won't be my last.

Janelle, maid of honor at her sister's destination wedding in Tulum, is caught between a rock and a hard place. Her sister's a Bridezilla, her ex is the groom, and her mom's adding to the stress. All Janelle wants is to support her sister, but she's constantly bombarded by drama.

When she and the best man, Rome, succumb to their sizzling chemistry, they agree to a no-strings, week-long fling. But as the wedding festivities intensify, their "only for the week" pact starts to feel like something much more.

As Janelle finally begins prioritizing her own happiness, she falls for Rome. But is their connection just a product of the tropical paradise, or could it be the real thing? Will Janelle find lasting love? Find out in this fun and romantic read!

This book was so fun, messy, and fast paced. If you're looking for a spicy, romantic palate cleanser, here you go. Rome (MMC), I could find no faults with him. For someone who offered and agreed to a vacation fling, he treated Janelle (FMC) like royalty as if they were something more at the time. Although, his enthusiasm most like stems from the fact that he's wanted her for a long time. Lately, I've been eating up books where the FMC is in medicine. Janelle is an OBGYN which I thought was really cool. Her sister and her mom got on my nerves so bad! And don't get me started on Arnold, ew. I really appreciated how Janelle finally stood up for herself and was brave enough to have uncomfortable conversations and stand on her boundaries. The way Rome prioritizes everything about Janelle causes you to have the goofiest grin on your face as you're reading. The epilogue and bonus content were so good, and we get to see their dynamic outside of Tulum as a couple. What happens in Tulum does not stay in Tulum. I plan to read more from this author in the future.
