Friends to lovers with an unhealthy amount of mutual pining! It wasn’t bad, it just kind of dragged a bit because it was dual pov so you know they’re into each other but it literally takes them 12 years to do anything about it.

I wanted to love this so badly. It was a decent cheesy holiday romance novel… (although not that Christmassy) nothing amazing, nothing inherently bad. Very slow burn, a lot of build up to a less than satisfying ending… I also definitely took off some stars for all the calorie/weight loss dialogue. Lame. But I liked Dan & Evie they were cute, just took way too long to actually get together in my personal opinion and kept dating other people.
