Harvey was a River Scout growing up in Salem, Oregon. Which made it easy to track down his prey….
This is a short story about seeking vengeance on someone he thinks that took and murdered Libby, Harvey’s “lover”.
”I’ve lived a nightmare for the past three years that I haven’t been able to wake up from. The only difference is, after tonight I’ll open my eyes again and be in a place where Libby is still alive.”

Oh course this is Yolanda Olson so that twist had me laughing because it’s just.. so Yolanda.

Ho letto solo il racconto di Penelope Douglas perché era l’unico che mi interessava! Peccato che sia così breve, c’erano le premesse per farne un romanzo vero e proprio!

Raining is only for City of Ash by Penelope Douglas.

Yet another well done short story by the wonderful Penelope Douglas. Highly recommend and I wish there were more pages. Such a quick read that is 100% worth it

A review for Fertile Ground - From the very first sentence Jennifer caught me once more. She's gifted at putting the reader right into the story, so we share the confusion, the fear, and the wickedness right alongside her characters. My only complaint was it was not enough, and I needed more! Definitely has some dark areas which might not suit all readers but for those who like Jennifer Bene, you will NOT be disappointed!

Ash City by Penelope Douglas… omg! This steamy short story is everything you need to set fire in the rain. Sorry I couldn’t help myself. Dominic is a straight up dirty talking man. Castel finds him as a boy, but they never forget one another!
