Uncomfortable and unsettling at times but the writing is stunning and raw. I recommend this book to every Canadian.

Had the audiobook with the author narrating and doing Inuit throat singing which was eerie, haunting and fun to listen to. I sort of wish that I knew more about Inuit life, culture and mythology because I didn't appreciate it as much as I would have liked. Some of the mythology was strange and I didn't get. Worth to learn more though and great starting point too!!
