Finishing this book was so bittersweet. Ever since I started the series, I could barely put the books down, but this book really tied everything up nicely and left me feeling completely satisfied. This book does such a good job of feeling almost real as you hear the story through the narrator many years down the road but is also so riveting and entertaining.

Satisfying end to the series--not much to say, but I'll miss this world and I'll miss Lady Trent.

Going into this series all those months ago, I could have never predicted this ending. The discoveries that were made over the years, all the tantalizing glimpses of this intriquitely carved world of Brennan's, even the relationships that have come so far were all exquisite parts of one fantastic story that took me on a journey right alongside Lady Trent.

There were tears in my eyes during several parts of this book (the reunions, my god, the reunions!) and over all, I was very pleased by this excellent ending. Thank you, Marie Brennan. I wish more people discovered this series, because it's truly a treasure.

I liked where the final book of this series went - the last volume I was loosing a bit of my initial level of interest which I felt I got back in this installment.
