Excellent concept that lacked in the execution for me. The pacing felt off and uneven, and while I appreciate there being a certain element of camp/ridiculousness in a Holmes story (The Creeping Man, anyone?) the resolution didn’t feel satisfying precisely because it was too far-fetched.

Sherlock and Watson are greatly improved as queer women. Absolutely delightful read, could not have loved it more! Got to read an early copy from the author and the hardback copy is just to die for.
