I've just finished reading this book. I felt so happy and thrilled reading it. What made me feel even more delighted reading it, is how it made me feel like i transported into the era of the ancient Egyptians. To tell the truth, most of Agatha Christie's novels I read left me shocked and disappointed ,for I was never satisfied by how she ended her books. But this one was different. Now I'm so excited to read another novel by Agatha Christie! I really recommend it for everyone.

The main character was a bit hollow and just floated through things. I liked the mystery and was on the edge of my seat

'“That you most certainly are not,” said Esa. “A tongue, Henet, may sometimes be a weapon. A tongue may cause a death—may cause more than one death. I hope your tongue, Henet, has not caused a death.”'

I love Christie's stories... usually. This felt like such a slog to get through, and it's not even long. The characters mostly felt stagnant, and I just wasn't pulled in. I didn't really care about the mystery because the main death was a bland/unlikeable character. Other than passenger to Frankfurt this is the worst of hers that's I've read
