This book is 🥵 #unholy & I loved it!

Thank you so much to @allmygirlyobsessions for reading it with me even though she completely devoured it 🥰🤣

Best friends little sister/Best friends brother is my absolute favorite trope. ♥️😍

If I thought I loved Tyler Bell, Sean Bell is even better. This book has the age gap, best friend’s little sister, and childhood friends tropes in it, and it was simply *chef’s kiss.* Although it was definitely a slower burn than the first book in the series, I was addicted to Sean and Zenny’s character development and relationship. Sean especially really impressed me - he grew so much throughout his story, especially in terms of his relationship with faith. The couple’s chemistry was top tier, and I cannot wait to continue with Aiden’s story in the final book!

CW for sexual content, grief.

I’m OBSESSEDD!! This was so freaking good! Sean has the dirtiest mouth and I literally LOVE it so much. This was definitely better than Priest IMO. I didn’t expect this book to be so emotional but it had me sobbing. I loved it so much

Pretty disappointed with how this turned out. I had some expectations coming from having read Priest which I actually really liked. Much of my apprehension and annoyance comes from reading this from the perspective of such an egotistical man. It doesn’t help that the author repeatedly mentions how Sean Bell is such a “bad man”, just in different words and phrasing. Like bro I GET IT. You’re a rich, hot, ladies’ man who likes it HARD and has a big dick. It’s giving me SMALL DICK ENERGY so STOP.

Although the taboo (huge age gap + MC is a postulate) topic being tackled in this book didn’t turn me off completely, there are just cringe-y and skin-crawling parts like Sean calling Zenobia “Zenny-bug” while also in the same breath recalling that he held her as a baby before like fuck that’s so weird.

Honestly, the only two things I liked in this book are the steamy scenes AND the conversations surrounding religion, especially when Sean was talking to Tyler.

It’s not as good as it’s hyped up to be. The main character focuses way too much on the age of his love interest which often makes it really weird and creepy. She’s of legal age but his constant comments about how young she is gets really weird. The constant mentioning of God is a lot. Often during sex scenes and all scenes actually. I didn’t care for the ending honestly I wish they would have went there separate ways.
