An exquisite collection. As a devourer of dark poems, it's always exciting to see a fresh name come into the world of horror poetry, especially when a debut collection is this good. Through an exciting range of brutality and sorrow, Death & Other Forms of Devotion reflects on religion and art, love and heartbreak, all through a raw and unfiltered lens. It's clear from the strong crafting of these poems that Niles spent a lot of time getting each one just right. I savored each flavor of these lines, and happily have it stored along with my favorite horror poetry collections. Highly, highly recommended.
