damn it, that ending is pure fantasy perfection
Second books, Percepliquis, was literally and figuratively unputdownable.
I still have some questions unanswered though, but still, I absolutely adored this trilogy.
The reading experience was like watching the Lord of the Rings with all that excitement and anticipation.
Brillant.

17 books in and this is the Best read of the year so far. So much that started at the very beginning is brought to a fantastic conclusion. I loved the characters and their development, the questions and hints, and the intrigue, despair, hope and humor throughout the whole series.

I absolutely tore through these, so the last 1700 pages or so are a bit of a blur.
There was a nice combination of surprises and expected tidying up, which made for a pretty satisfying conclusion. I really appreciate that Sullivan finished *all* of these before publishing any of them.
SpoilerMy only complaint is that I found the finer points of elven succession and who had blown the horn when kind of confusing. I don't know how our intrepid adventurers could possibly follow that while still not figuring out they had the wrong Heir.
I also got to the end and was like "but what about YOLRIC?!" but that seemed intentionally mysterious, and the wonders of the internet have confirmed that for me. If you finish and still have some questions, you might enjoy this page on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/comments/1r17td/questions_about_the_riyria_series_major_spoilers/
P.S. If these are ever movies, there will be standing and cheering when Lenare picks up her father's sword. More Lenare!
