I am not sure about this one. It was interesting, but there were times that it was hard to hold my attention.

This was freaking AMAZING until the last act which is why this gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Spoilers ahead. The introduction so late of a completely different character made no sense. There were little clues that alluded to a twist, but not enough to warrant a completely new character and make the story take a different turn. Also, this doesn't end in a happy ending which was great too.

I'm giving this 3 stars because an extra element was adding at the end that would have benefited from a clearer back story. And though the ending was unexpected, I felt like it was a tiny bit rushed.

The book overall was good. It kept me interested. Just had a few grammatical errors but you could figure out the way it should have read for most part. My current style of books are horror/ghost/suspense so I enjoyed it!

I really can’t say I like this book. The plot and settings are kind of disturbing and the story is so freaking twisted... On the other hand, the creepy atmosphere and the surprising existence of the first Anne is great.
The most disturbing parts are both household violence and the creepy setting of the first Anne... The book reminds me a lot of the movie “Orphan”. Their cores are kind of similar.
