Very good book, such an interesting story even if it’s mainly on a lifeboat in the Pacific. I watched the movie while reading/listening to the book. I thought the movie was great as well; there were beautiful scenes that really came to life from the book. Pi faces adversity and overcomes it, and I really enjoyed reading his story!

I almost abandoned this book because the intro was long and i didnt know where the story was going. It got interesting once he started talking about the religions. It stayed interesting throughout, but got almost unbearably icky at times.

I prefer the story with the animals, even though the idea of someone trying to eat tiger poo horrifies me. Wild how many characters they gender swapped for the UK touring version of the play to make it slightly more diverse as in the book I think the mum is the only woman??
