AMAZING. I finished this book 2 days ago and it is still resonating with me. A little slow at first but OMG. I loved. I don't know what took me so long to read this one.

There is something so compelling about Life of Pi that I struggle to put into words.

There are some deep religious undertones in this story which are told hand-in-hand with the story of the human condition and the lengths that we will go to in order to survive. I think this message becomes a lot more obvious in the final few pages of the story.

I am personally and atheist, however this story is not written in an overbearing way and I really enjoyed engaging with the religious messages of the story.

This remains to be a favourite of mine.

A beautifully written book. I thought going into it, the descriptions of survival being shipwrecked by a tiger would be what capture me. Instead I was miled more interested in the philosophies and musings of the main character. Very facinating read.
