Filled with tropes and cookie cutter characters but still entertaining. My type of beach read. It certainly would not be regarded as literature but fun regardless.

I continue to love this series. Rezkin is an awesome character. This book takes place within a very short period of time, but the amount of new characters, their development and finally some plot development really fills in the pages quickly.

Not really as good as the last one and not as funny. The main protagonist keeps adding to his entourage and they almost all have either special hidden powers and/or are among the most powerful within their class.
The story and main plot progresses at a decent tempo and the author tries to include all the hangaround arcs in a fine way.
I will probably continue reading the series when the next book is written.

Just as with the first, I enjoy watching Reskin grow into the character in "our" world. And the intricate nature of balancing all his "activities". It's a great show in my mind.

Not as funny as the first one. What flaws? Rezkin is literally perfect. Characters developed so much. Several characters started and completed entire arcs within one to two pages. Real impressive stuff. And I, too, know how to use Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V.
