Written in a style too reminiscent of a junior high book, I just didn't like this book. Plus, Jane's constant whining about being a victim got on my nerves. Then there was the almost incestuous nature of the relationship. I couldn't wrap my head around the fact he became her one true love. He was too much of a father figure to me and then to have him fall in love with her, well.... creepy in my opinion. Read the Time Traveler's Wife instead.

I hated this. Why are we romanticizing a grown man falling in love with a child and then spending years praying to find her again as a woman. I picked this up because it was all over my TikTok for a few days, and I now have a lot of questions.

While it was a fast read, the ending seemed kind of rushed and slightly corny

Horrible. Like reading a story from a prepubescent girl's diary.

The ending seemed a little rushed, but other than that, it was decent.

This was a great change from all the other books I've read. So cute and a great read

This book is creepy AF. Sorry... it’s a hard pass for me. Gross.

Great little story... and quick enough that I finished it in less than a day. :)

I almost threw this book against the wall when I finally finished this piece of drudgery. It is absolutely STRANGE... a child's invisible friend comes to life and becomes her spouse??
I don't know if JP was trying to go for a romance book or science fiction. Stick to mysteries.
