This book was very much not for me. I didn't get along with the style of comedy and I felt that characters often had completely unearned 180 personality shifts. There were so things I enjoyed regardless. The frustrations of being disabled in a relationship with an able bodied person felt real and the struggle of being more than one type of marginalized (queer and disabled). Its not a bad book but definitely not for me.

SPOILERS
very vulgar sense of humor which took some getting used to. plus i basically hated the main character most of the book, but it’s inspiring to see him come around and get his life back together. justice for gus but obv I’m a Jonas fan.
I liked the point about hating others who we see our flaws reflected in. I also liked his reasoning for going sober and his journey was fun to be a part of.
Excellent writing- his voice is so specific and charming.
