Did I like this book? Yes, I did. Did I think it was kind of along the same lines as Neon Gods? Yea, I did. I just felt the cadence of the story was kind of the same even though the characters were different but that did not damper my experience in the read. I am always on board with the fluffy girlie getting her happier ever after, so yea.

Psyche and Eros were basically two peas taking up in the same pod. They both had personas that they shows the world and another one that they kept in the shadows. Eros needed Psyche to be able to view himself as more than the "monster" he painted himself as and Psyche needed him so she had a soft place to land when everything and everyone became just too much. Was there another way to get to the end result of getting his momma off her trail? Probably. Would I have enjoyed it as much if they had not come up with the plan they did then realized that they were made for each other through all the tribulations? Nope, not at all.

I am enjoying this series and am eager to see what the next book holds.

This book was hit and miss for me. It was a fun ride but I did find it really repetitive at times. There’s only so many times we can be told how seedy Olympus is before it becomes boring, especially when we don’t really see much of that this book. This book was fun and I wasn’t really expecting much plot so generally a good read! I think I just prefer a little more action I guess.

This one took me FOREVER to read. It was too quick in the beginning and the whole middle draggeddddddd on. There was barely any plot it was just the same thing over and over and then the final two chapters with the ending was way too fast too. Idk I lovedddd the first one this was a disappointment

I didn’t finish neon gods, but I absolutely loved this one. I enjoyed the love story, psyche as a character and the modern day retelling of the Greek gods.
