Rounding up to 4 stars because this book was cute and it made me smile. I recommend if you need an easy read with a happy ending.

I liked that Libby made decisions and went with them throughout the book, it was refreshing. But the story is not that good. I thought Libby was so unnecessarily mean and harsh to Tom after he shared something difficult and personal; an ounce of sympathy would have been the least she could offer. The ending was very predictable. Not the greatest book but I wanted something easy and light - it delivered that much.

I enjoyed this book. It was a fast read on my ereader. The beginning of the book sets the tone with multiple life changing events happening to the protagonist. This may seem like the book could be sad but the characters approach these serious subjects kind of in a lighthearted way.

Libby finds out she has a rare and deadly form of cancer the same day her husband confesses he is actually gay-what follows is a slightly silly dramatic comedy in which she faces her past and confronts her chances for a future. I still cannot decide if this book was ridiculous or loveable, or something in between. Definitely a quick read and would be perfect to pack on your next vacation.

I both loved and disliked this book. It had a great story line, great messaging, and great character development, but the main character handles things in such a strange way, and most of the book is her inner monologue as she spirals downward. Interesting, complex read!
