Would not necessarily recommend this if you have any background in forestry or environmental science. If you do, it comes off as a bit condescending. It could be a good intro if you’re unfamiliar with the topics though.

Pretty good book on enjoying the simplicity of hikes and how to view animals & plants interactions in nature

This was mind numbingly boring. I thought it would be recounting adventures of exploring the forest but it’s more like a slightly conversational textbook.

It was kind of all over the place, jumping around different topics and outdoor activities.

There were a lot of interesting facts but unless you are someone who spends a lot of time on the trails, this book is kind-of hard to get through and stay interested in.
