I don't want to say a lot about this book as people should read it for themselves. It's honest, inspirational, and insightful. I learned so much (and I had seen Rocketman already).

Celebrity memoirs/autobiographies are so often hit-or-miss, but this one is a goodie. No one could deny that Elton's lived a pretty wild life, and his story is told quite openly here, in his own unique (read: self-deprecating and slightly bitchy) voice. And boy, is it dishy. Some seriously high profile name-dropping and various tales of celebrity debauchery. It's probably worth the read just for this.

A phenomenal and eye-opening look into the life of one of the greatest artists of my time. This was one of the most honest and candid autobiographies I have ever read.

i adored every single bit of this autobiography. my favorite part may be elton and some of his other artist friends giving each other drag names in the 70s that have carried them to present day. elton is incredibly honest and candid with his past.im sure the audiobook is lovely as it is narrated by taron egerton and (with elton,) but the physical copy contained pictures that i loved almost as much as the the writing.
