What got me back into reading a few years ago was the amazing genre of old school sci-fi. the sort less concerned with lasers and space ships and more a focused paranoia about the world and its mysterious "powers that be." More often than not, these novels were written as fun, cautionary tales that might make you think a little more about the things we do.

I loved them just like I loved SPAWNING GROUNDS. I loved it so much that I'm doing a written review of this wonderfully uncomfortable story for other reason than ... I need more of these books. Pretty please.

MAN that was a good book.
