I liked this one quite a bit. It's definitely a different "take" on a story that is set in the Star Wars universe. And only vaguely connects to the rest of the saga. Just a cool, entertaining story with witty droid banter set in the SW universe.

This definitely reads as a YA novel. It’s a fun, little story in that you get to revisit so many iconic moments through the Skywalker Saga. However, the main plot of the story didn’t really do anything for me. I found it kind of cheesy.

This was a fun, light read. Definitely meant for a younger audience, but enjoyable nonetheless. I like hearing the story of someone who is Force sensitive whose destiny is not necessarily to become a Jedi or Sith, or participate in the war, but something else entirely while still helping bring balance to the Force.

This book is so readable. While I found the writing to be a bit clunky and a little more junior novel than a young adult, I still enjoyed the narrative. In addition, I loved getting to know Karr throughout the story.
I found it an interesting choice to make Maize Raynshi's father a kind of okay person.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It's a journey of self-discovery, learning more about who you are and the path to excepting that.
