If you’re looking for a fast paced read — this is the book for you — focused on the crime itself and the possible people involved this book is full of mystery and suspenseful moments .
A high school girl’s body is gruesomely discovered naked in a farmer’s field having been partially eaten by animals. This has happened in a town where nothing bad happens, people keep their doors unlocked and are close knit so… Who killed Diana Brewer? And why?
Even though the characters ( victim, her friends etc) are not overly developed but the crime and possible suspects are more focused on in this book— it still keeps you captivated to the point I finished it in one day—I enjoyed the change of POVs throughout the book— but the paranormal aspect for me could’ve been there or not . Overall, I thought it was done very well— and the ending was a bit unexpected for me.
