this had so much potential but did not gave what it was supposed to give
I actually remember liking this a lot more when I first read it but I cannot stress how much they should not end up together. Dex actually sucks. His little temper tantrums aren’t cute

First things first, I skipped all those other books cause I was not about to waste my time with them and you know what, I’m happy I did. Even though this was like the very first book— Mack and Frannie, this was just written better imo. I actually loved reading this tbh.
I’m a sucker for a small town, single dad, next door neighbor trope. Fuck, it always gets me and this was it. Honestly reading Winnie’s book was so great and seeing how she was with Hallie and Luna just reminded me of when she was little

Spicy scenes were spicy. Everything else was meh. But holy lord, the children in this book were absolutely insufferable. They were truly the reason birth control was invented.

Having read both MH's Cloverleigh Farms and Bellamy Creek series I really liked seeing the adult children of our favourite couples. I loved seeing Winnie get her own story. But the execution for me was a little off, as well as the pacing. I felt the story was very similar to the MC's parent's story, and then even some characters commented on the similarity in the story. Because of the similarities I compared this book to 'Irresistable' and I find myself liking 'Irresistable' more. I understand why some people will love this book, but it just didn't hit the same marks for me as some of the other Cloverleigh Farms novels have.
