Fun read. HEA.

this book was a fun cute read, some parts I felt did not need to be elaborated on like the constant reminder of different characters backgrounds. I just feel like it took away from the main characters of this book. But overall it was a cute read.

Ignite was a great beginning to a new series.
What I loved:
1. As always, Melanie Harlow delivers the steam, and I think this is one of her hotter books.
2. The moments with the girls were really cute. Winnie interacting with them really showcased how kind and considerate Winnie is.
3. Overall, I enjoyed the relationship between Winnie and Dex.
4. Dex had a developed background that really made him a layered character.
5. I loved that Winnie was going to chase her dreams.
What I didn’t work:
1. The couple didn’t have that spark for me, and I think this os truly something that is just a personal preference. There wasn’t anything I disliked about them or how their story unfolded, but it wasn’t as gripping as her other books or couples.
The breadcrumbs she left for the next book has me so excited though! I cannot wait to get my hands on Taste.
****audiobook - this was overall enjoyable, but I didn’t love the male narrator’s voice when he read the female parts. Made it a bit hard to listen to at times.
