God I loved this book so much, the was funny, sad and overall so intimate. I couldn't put the book down, I needed to know what happened next.

The story in general was very intriguing and interesting, for me also very recognizable which helped me relate to it a lot easier and better.
The erotic stories in the book were a little too much for me from time to time, but it never bothered me. :)

3.5 stars. I loved the plot of this book. It’s hard to take a look at longstanding traditions and question their durability and impact. This book really rolls up its sleeves and digs in to traditions and customs of Indian culture. I feel the characters could have been a bit more developed and the book overall could have been more concise.
