I enjoyed the numerous remembrances and references to the previous books, and the plot had me going the whole way through. Yeah, Snape! I knew he didn't go all bad... I'm not a big fan of the Epilogue - I don't feel it was that necessary, but I guess Dumbledore's message of things ending where they begin had to be followed even in the writing of the book.

This is as such a great conclusion to the Harry Potter series. I loved getting to see more background about some of the characters that was left out of the movies.
Most of the changes that were made in the movie make sense for the time allowed between the two movies. The biggest element I prefer in the movies is Ginny- her personality and the bigger role she played.
I LOVED getting to learn more about Dumbledore and his weaknesses - and how Harry was the “better man” for not sharing that particular weakness. I think the story weaving of the deathly hallows, and how it related to the characters, was brilliantly done.
Favorite book of the series: Deathly Hallows or Half Blood Prince (as opposed to Sorcerer’s Stone or Goblet of Fire for the movie versions).
Favorite series characters: Lupin - the best wizard in the series, Neville, and Molly Weasley
I can’t wait until my kids are older so that I can read this series to them, haha!
