A dandy idea book full of loopy idiosyncrasy as I would expect from an Icelandic book. Only one of the main story lines kept me engaged, and it wasn't the one following the titular star. I will add my voice to those declaiming the ending. Knocked a full star from my review...

Un roman prometteur plein d'absurdités qui aident à le rendre intéressant: les choses sont telles qu'elles sont et c'est tout. Par contre, ces absurdités finissent par laisser place à une tentative trop poussée (et ratée) de nous faire croire que l'univers décrit dans le roman est probable, voire ce vers quoi notre société se dirige. J'ai toujours un grand malaise à ce qu'un roman symbolique s'utilise lui-même comme principal argument à son message, que je sois d'accord ou non avec celui-ci.
