4.5 stars = Loved it! Would re-read.

This was delightful! The romance here is supremely satisfying. The couple was a great fit for me - I loved their bantering, Lucky's protective instinct, and the way the couple grows from a fractured friendship into something more than friends.

The relationships between the women in Josie's family were fascinating. The journey here was as delightful and satisfying as the romance was. I loved both pieces equally. I would have happily kept reading about these characters for many more chapters. (Language, sex, TW: harassment, sexual misconduct)

I received an ARC of this book from a Goodreads giveaway.

I really enjoyed this book. It was so sweet and very swoon worthy. I really liked Josie’s dynamic with her family and how it all plays out. I absolutely adored Lucky! I loved learning about him and watching both him and Josie let down their walls for each other. I thought the setting of Beauty was so wonderful and it made me want to go to a place just like it. Overall, while this is my first Jenn Bennett book I cannot wait to read more of her books as I really enjoyed this one a lot.

Good for YA just not for adults.

This book was okay, but definitely not one of my favorites. The beginning was wayyy too long and it took about 200 pages or so for the story to actually get good. It was as to be expected for a YA read.

Sweet. Cute. Exactly what I wanted. Jenn Bennet is quickly becoming a favorite. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the severity of the inciting incident was SO extreme and yet the wrap up was SO convenient. A little bit too much suspension of disbelief.

After reading two of her books, and this, I could say that Jenn Bennett is my to-go to for a quick and fun read
