This was my second jen Bennett book(first was Alex approximately) and I really like her writing. This book was very good, I got hooked pretty much immediately. Ok also one thing so Porter from AA was bitten by a shark right? And he’s got scars, and then Lucky (idk of his name actually is lucky that was never cleared up) was burnt in a fire and has scars. So does ms jenn have a thing for scared men? Idk but they was she writes these boys makes me love them so much.
note: i would recommend you read up on the tw surrounding this novel before reading
okay so don't get me wrong, from what the jenn bennett novel i had read before chasing lucky (it was alex, approximately lol) i already knew what an amazing author jenn bennett is. i however, was not expecting this. chasing lucky blew my mind. it was fairly fast-paced, gripping and had me in tears for majority of the final quarter. i love this so much.

Jenn Bennett is quickly becoming a favorite author for me. She is a master at crafting unique characters with complicated pasts/histories that really draw you in. Lucky was such a cool character to read about and I loved his relationship with Josie. The small New England coastal town setting was awesome and I felt like I was really there at times. I can't wait to read another book by this author!
I loved this book! I loved how it taught you that you must 'smash down invisible walls' to understand your loved ones! The romance was realsitic and cute and perfect! The ending was a perfect closure to the story! Thank you @mugglethatreads for recommending this book to me! Starry Eyes is definitely on my TBR now!!!
