Didn’t captivate my kiddo as much as the first one, but still silly and funny.
Ya'll I'm a grown behind woman that absolutely finds this to be one of the most enjoyable children's series that I've ever read. I'm pretty sure I've read this one twice at this point, but I'm just now getting the opportunity to document it. Readers follow the main characters as they embark on another foolish adventure, this time to save thousands of chickens from a chicken farm. The highlight of this installment had to be the relationship between Shark and Spider. No one and I mean no one would expect a great white shark to be afraid of a tarantula, but here we are. With just as many mishaps as the first installment, it's amazing that they were even able to complete their mission. And the ending was hilarious. I can't wait to pick up the next one. These are going to become comfort reads because I know that if I'm down and I need a good laugh, these are the books to pick up.
The laughs keep coming! I love the new character, the tarantula. This one did not disappoint. Looking forward to the 3rd installment.
Yep, we (myself and the boys, age 5 and 8) love these books - so much that we've read this twice in the last 2 days and my eldest wanted to buy his own copy. The illustrations and crazy plot work wonderfully - daft and haphazard, perfectly balancing the set ups and jokes and at the heart, good natured. We've already bought a few more and downloaded some others from the library. Excellent stuff.

Enjoying my son reading this to me. These books are hysterical.
3.5 stars. Not quite as funny as book one, but still silly as Wolf continues his mission to have Shark, Snake, Piranha and himself rebranded as The Good Guys. This time the gang decide to liberate 10,000 chickens from a farm, with the assistance of Legs the Tarantula. Snake, though, has slightly different plans....
