Bought it because it was on the top 15 Kindle list. Easy read but funny, hot, and not too corny or inappropriate. Definitely a bit predictable but I grew to like both the characters so much, it didn't matter. I thought the ending was lame and would love to see a follow up.

This one reminds me all the time of the book ''kiss an angel'' Even with the dog instead of the lion.

Well, anyway, i'm not going to write a proper review I'm just going to say that It was okay. This kind of book are the only ones that you read when your internet it's down and those are the only ones on your bookshelf.

Alexa y Nick

blah. completely eye rolling here.

The book was too short of anything remotely real to happen.

These guys are clueless and that bothers me. really?

the story was just overly dumb and not impressive and unbelievable, there wasn't anything really exciting about the story and I skimmed the last 30% of it get the gist of what was happening because I just didn't care anymore.

This had a great premise, but in the end it was just OK to me.

Nick is the elder brother of Alexa's best friend Maggie.
In the prologue (set when Nick is 16, and Alexa is 14) the two MC's seem to have a love/hate relationship. Nick gives Alexa her first kiss, but then teases her when she tells him she loves him.

Fast forward to current day. Alexa's in her late twenties (I think?) and hasn't had a boyfriend for ten years. She wants a man to love and asks the Universe to provide (hopefully with an additional $150K to bail her parents out of debt and save her old family home).

Maggie knows Nick needs to get married to receive the inheritance left to him by his late uncle, so she proposes that the two enter a marriage of convenience.

Baring in mind that Nick and Alexa haven't seen each other at all in many, many years, they got hot and heavy pretty quickly, especially since their marriage contract was meant to be a celebate one.

There were plenty of love scenes, but I didn't buy into the chemistry between the two MC's. A little disappointing in the end, as I've read many more satisfying books with this trope.

This book was just a huge disappointment. Not only are the main characters surprisingly stupid and selfish, but the story line was just plain awful.

What a pile of crap! This is not the worst thing I have read, but it was pretty bad. I love stories like this. They can be so cute and sweet. This one just wasn’t. What a disappointment.

OMG! I loved, loved, loved this book! It was so perfect in so many ways, and whit all the sexual tension it drives a woman crazy! Just perfect.

More like 2.3/4 stars.

Not much to say. Quick, easy, predictable read.
