Ali runs the streets and with help from a crooked cop, he stays on top. Rell is an old school hustler, fresh out of prison and looking to get back in the game so he goes to Ali for a job. Things fall apart quickly when the key players start to lose their tempers. Heading the problems is G-Money, Ali's second, who acts first then thinks about the consequences.

This was a really slow read for me. Not much happens for the first half of the book to get me excited. I'm noticing that lately with books, stuff is happening but the authors are not drawing me into the story. I'm not sure if I will read the second one or not.

Despite positive reviews having me anticipate a good read, I couldn't get past the first page. The first paragraph alone had four types of grammatical or syntactic error (one of which occurred four times), and a scan of subsequent text showed me this was the continued standard. The story may have been interesting, but the way it was written made it inaccessible, so I'll never know.
