Short stories that are just OK - not very interesting, entertaining or provocative. The author seems to try hard to be clever in his writing, but he is not. The stories I completed gave me no encouragement that I would find anything worthwhile if I finished the rest of this book.

A love letter to typewriters, New York City, and The Golden Age of Hollywood.

Entertaining, cozy, and a little too perfect.

I will love Tom Hanks with my dying breath, but I needed a little more from these short stories.

A fun collection of short stories! There are a few that outshine the rest, a couple super memorable and others are ok. I love how Hanks intertwined the typewriter theme throughout, the integration of it into each story never felt forced or unnatural

Picking this up was my mistake. I ASSUMED they were stories ABOUT Tom Hanks. Only listened to a few-I'm not into short stories when there are plenty of good novels yet to read.

I listened to the audiobook on libro.fm. Its narrated by the man himself, Tom Hanks, and was a comfort to listen to on my commute. Makes me want to go out and buy a type writer today!
