What a great book to start the series. It's like knowing what's going to happen but then having no idea it would happen like that.
The connection between Ryth, Tobias, Nick, and Caleb was palpable and very enjoyable.
I can't wait to read book 2.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. There is actually a large part of a chapter that is different. It is in the Kindle version but not the audio. The voice actors were good.

It’s smutty but not extremely compelling or impactful.
This book was exactly what I thought it would be. Not my usual Sunday morning read, but it could be? The plot was an added bonus, but the way I would end up throwing my kindle if my husband walked in the room while I was reading this? Fantastic.
If you don’t like dark romance and you don’t like why choose romances… don’t read this..
If you do like them, 100% put this to the top of you TBR because I could not put it down. The spice was spicy and the plot was plotting.
It was a go from start and I love that about a book, I need a good plot not just pure smut. The way she write it together so amazingly it was a massive yes from me.

I liked the first 25% then it got waaay too repetitive. Also the personalities of the guys are all so same-y.

I am giving 4 ⭐️ only because of the inconsistency of the FMC. She’s head strong and badass one minute then the next she’s a scared little mouse.
I also get the need to give us the plot twist but it felt a little…rushed I guess (I know it might make more sense reading the rest of the series) but idk gave me an ick with Elle and Creed especially his whiplash behavior.
Caleb, Nick and Tobias are some hot brothers though! We get different personalities for all three which made me want to know about each of them!!!
I am even super curious about Laz also…
