Not my cup of tea. Due to the choices Ryth takes. Is she too naive or what?

She somehow tell us tht she can be strong in her head but turned to be so weak in a snap.

Give 3 grown up boys(?) for what? Displaying alpha? With lots of pent up angers on 1 brother, too much hormones in another and somehow a lawyer(?) i dont get it why a lawyer bro also can get into the tangled they created. Big bods no brain. Always fist, anger, hatred mybe they don’t get enough love.

Almost abandoning this novel. But the actual plot stopped me. Is it the actual plot? Or a im i thinking abt it myself? What happened to her dad wth going on with Creed? I want to know how this end. Might continue to next part.

I read this as it was recommended by a friend. stoped quite a few times for a brake as some of the topics were a bit much for me. As per the trigger warning stated at the beginning of the book i knew what i was getting into. My rating is not to say it was bad it just wasnt for me.

I’d read good reviews about this series, so I was excited to dive into it. It’s a RH stepsibling dark romance, that certainly captivates you. It is advertised as a bully romance as well and although there are many aspects of this trope, for me the bullying wasn't heavy.

Most of the book centered on the developing relationships and the exploration of the characters. The last part of the book was much more action-packed. Although it lacks action, there’s so much suspense and mystery that keeps you hooked, and the characters are so enticing.
I tend to have a favorite in RH, but surprisingly that wasn’t the case this time. I loved all the boys equally; they were all possessive and protective of Ryth but retained their individualities throughout the book. Each had his pain and qualities. I also liked our FMC, her softness and shyness turned into fierceness.

The only issue for me was the pacing between the attraction and the hate relation of the characters. It felt a bit chunky as though the characters moved a bit too fast, and they needed a bit more time to process the situation they were found in, which was obviously undesirable for some of them.
All in all, I’m really excited about the rest of the series. Warning: it ends on a cliffhanger.

Did I like it? Yes
Would I read it again? Mhm.
