Mine is the first book by A K Rose that I have read.
Ryth Castlemaine's life gets turned upside down. Her father is sent to prison, and her home is destroyed in a fire. Her mom contacts an "old friend" and they end up staying at his home, supposedly just for a couple of days until they sort things out.
Creed is a man she's never met and he has 3 sons, Caleb, Nick & Tobias. Everyone knows who they are and doesn't cross them and each one has a reputation of their own. Their life was turned upside down as well, after the loss of their mother just over two months ago.
Tobias is determined to make Ryth pay. He feels she has no place in his home, especially sleeping in the room his mum had so recently passed away in and he will do anything to make her see that. He needs to get his brothers on board to help him.
Nick is the protector and the one who sets out to keep the peace between them all.

If you love a step-brother trope this one is for you because you get 3 sexy men all in one hot book!
Very heavy on the spice in the why choose. Still a slight plot but so addictive. This book had me in a chokehold the first day. I struggled to put it down to go to bed! Normally I like one man more than the others in the why choose but they are all equally amazing in their own right. All with strengths and flaws, all equally loveable. Definitely worthy book boyfriends. I would like to see more one on one between each mmc and the mfc.
While the mafia element it quite light in the book I expect it to get a little heavier as the series goes on.
I would not call this a dark, dark romance compared to some others I have read but in saying that it may be dark for some. There are a some dark situations and lack of consent that may be distressing for some and you should check the trigger warnings first.
However there were a few things I didn’t like as usual, no book is perfect. But, I didn’t really love the mfc. She was a bit meek for my liking and portrayed young for most of the book. It also kind of irritated me that she had an “ugly” birth mark that kept being the focal point. Like I get it she’s not like other girls we still think she’s beautiful but it could of done with out it really. I did like how the author tied it together with mmc’s though. It is a tad Insta lovey, but it’s okay to fall hard. I would too I guess 😂
Overall great book and I’m really looking forward to the others! Beware it does end in a cliff hanger, so be ready to download the second one.

This book was sooo 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ I loved the boys but feel we didn’t get enough of Caleb Nick is my favorite and I feel like this book was mostly focused on their relationship. Tobias is just an angry ball and Caleb is quiet and calculating. Ryth she’s got a lot of damage in a lot of crap kept from her. I think her mom had bear plans for her and she screwed that up in the reason that their with creed has to do with her dad and mom
Loved this book! Read it in a few hours, I’m hooked!! And I did not see the mum being the villain, can’t wait to see what happens in book 2! Also Nick is definitely my favourite brother in this 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
