A fun but not especially sophisticated witch/demon “romantasy.” The vibes feel much more like something written in the 2010s, and I definitely would have gobbled this up as a teen.
But the ending and the writing style didn’t quite work for me, so I probably won’t continue the series.

This entire series was astounding.
I inhaled these books. I was not expecting to adore them the way that I do, but these became my Roman Empire.
I adored the FMC, Emelia. It felt like she was strong and resilient, yet soft and pliable. She gained a lot of footing in the first book.
Wrath. Is. Bae.
I’m so glad I read these. The biblical accuracy, the intelligence, the absolute plot line spins.
This book has everything you need.

4,5 ⭐️ Tiene pinta de que el segundo va a ser una burrada
I’m not surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. As a fan of stories about demons and the underworld and a huge admirer of the Lucifer TV series, I picked up this series hoping for something with a similar vibe and I was not dispointed!
I admired Emilia’s stubbornness and her determination to uncover the truth about her sister, despite some of the questionable choices she made. Wrath’s bluntness and sarcasm were standout features for me—his sharp wit and unfiltered remarks gave off strong Lucifer vibes and his character provided a perfect counterbalance to Emilia’s intensity.
I loved this book and couldn’t wait to dive into the next one!

A continuation of book 1's "who did it?" I once again devoured page after page to learn more about the curse and its tangled strings. I very much like the lore in this series, and I like that in this book, we learn more about the other demon princes. This book has some spice, and the revelations were just as juicy. I'm glad we did not dive into a love triangle between Emilia, Wrath & Pride

Really enjoyed this book with the exploration of the seven deadly sins. In this book we only see wrath, envy, greed, lust and pride and their depth to those emotions.
Some of the plot twists I suspected to happen but I will say the scene in Emilia’s house with envy I didn’t see coming but loved
Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for Emilia and wrath for book 2
