I do not vibe with this. The times were I read and finished bad demon summoning books have passed in 2013.

Edit: I have finished it afterall. 3 stars. I found it quite mediocre. Also it didn't really feel like an "actual" enemies to lovers since Wrath was so nice to her. It didn't feel they were really enemies bc that tension wasn't really there. Also the fact that when the protagonist just summoned Wrath, she let him wait in the cave in a summoning circle he can't leave for a day like a information source about demons on standby. Idk that was weird.

First and foremost, I was VERY hungry for all the foods Emilia was preparing in this book. Please feed me and not in a creepy way. Haha.
Secondly, I was kind of prepared for this book to fall a bit flat so when it did, I was not crushed. I do expect the romance to start blowing me away in the sequel because so far it could use being *more*. For a Prince of Hell Wrath was a bit soft. I'm probably yet to see his true W R A T H and I'm here for it!
I enjoyed the sleuthing part. That was well executed and enjoyable for me to read.
Side note: is it me or do we all imagine Prince of Sloth to just lazy his way through the entire trilogy without even making a true effort to mess anyone's plans?

Overall enjoyed it, parts confused me and I want answers on Wrath and where his feelings lie. What about the tattoos? What does the ending mean for Wrath and Emilia? What was the sister actually planning?

Also I knew Antonio would be a smarmy character from the start! I hope Emilia kills him in the second book

okay take everything i say with a grain of salt because this is my first book post acftl, but like nothing really happened

the murder mystery could’ve been interesting but it was like she was checked out of the experience the whole time??? so that made me feel like i shouldn’t care if she didn’t either

don’t even get me started on the “romance” because…that’s not even what that was. for a demonic prince of hell he was as soft as a newborn kitten and the least threatening character i’ve ever read about, so the enemies tension was lackluster. when they started showing interest in each other, it came out of left field because there was nothing to base it off of either

this was way better than I thought it was going to be!! I’ve heard the ending was disappointing but I’m going to keep reading these, I’m fully invested right now

It was a decent read fun atmosphere, an interesting premise, and Wrath definitely kept things entertaining. It didn’t blow me away, and some parts felt a bit slow or predictable, but overall, it was enjoyable enough to consider continuing the serie

I loved reading this book up till the end. I wish it had ended clearly but we shall see what happens in book 2. Over all I really loved the story and the way it was beautifully written, very entertaining and it kept me on the edge of my seat quite a few times! I would definitely recommend this book!!❤️
